Ergolevel is a small Addis Ababa workshop making electric sit-stand desks for people who spend their working lives at a screen. Every desk is built to order, delivered and set up by the same people who made it.
It started with a sore back.
We spend our own days at a desk, and we know exactly what eight hours in a chair does to you: the stiff lower back, the tight neck and shoulders, the restless afternoon that no amount of coffee fixes. We went looking for a desk that would let us move through the day instead of sitting still through it, and found that the good ones were either not sold here at all or priced as though they had been flown in one at a time.
So we built one. First for ourselves, then for the friends who tried it and asked where to get their own, and eventually for anyone in Addis Ababa who works the way we do. We import the frames and lift systems from an established international manufacturer, and everything else, the top, the finish, the fit, the assembly, happens in our own workshop here.
We spent six months testing before we sold a single desk: raising and lowering, loading them up, living with the finishes, changing what we did not like. What you buy today is what survived that.

The steel frame, motors, controller and switch come from an established international manufacturer, chosen after months of testing. Quiet, steady, and rated for real daily use, not a novelty that gets used twice.
Tops finished by hand in Addis
Hand-finished block-board tops in five finishes, cut and sealed in our own workshop. Solid wood is available on custom order, and so are sizes we don't list, because a desk that has to fit a specific corner should fit it.
Built to order, then set up for you
Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting for a buyer. You choose the model, size, finish and riser, we build that desk, then deliver and assemble it in your space and make sure it works before we leave.

Email admin@ergolevel.store or message us on Telegram at @ergolevel with a doctor’s letter, prescription or medical record showing the diagnosis. A photo of the document is fine.
We check it, privately
One person on our team reviews it, and we delete the document as soon as it is verified. It is never attached to your order, never stored on this site, and never shared with anyone.
You get your code
We send back a personal discount code, usually within a day or two. Enter it at checkout for 15% off, and tell us if you would rather order over the phone instead.
One code per person, valid on a single order, and it cannot be combined with another discount code. We ask for documentation only to keep the offer available to the people it is meant for.

Free delivery and setup in Addis
We bring the desk, assemble it in your space, and leave only once it is level, wired and working. Outside Addis Ababa, talk to us first and we will tell you honestly whether we can arrange it.
5-year frame, 2-year electricals
The steel frame carries a 5-year warranty and the motors, controller and switch carry 2 years, against manufacturing defects under normal indoor use.

Every order is confirmed by a phone call, and the same numbers handle questions afterwards. There is no online payment step and no queue, just people who know your desk.
